Live stock handling involves, moving my animals when they are babies, moving the mom and babies away from the others for the mom and babies safety. A few other things livestock handling involves is , Trimming their hooves to make sure they stay healthy, Tagging them for record keeping of shots and other things, and breeding management. I also monitor their health, which is regularly checking for signs of illness and injury in worming them every three months to make sure that they stay healthy. I also keep their records, which is their breeding, animal health, and the fee that they have been eating for either weight gain or to build their muscle.
I have experience with babysitting whether that’s my 2 nieces and 3 nephews were just any kid that their parents need someone to watch their baby. I grew up with my three nephews around all the time my first nephew being born whenever I was eight years old, I used to always babysit him for my sister and I also babysitting all three of her boys at the same time. I’ve babysitting both of my nieces before and a reason why I think I’m a really good babysitter is because I’m very caring with kids. I love being around them and I know how to comfort them and support them through struggles. My communication skills with children are very good. I am a very problem-solving person and I’m a very good listener whenever it comes to rules boundaries and or problems that the kid may have. I am very aware of safety. I’m always trying to make sure that the kid is the safest. It can be I supervise while they eat , play, and things like that., I am also CPR certified so if a child starts choking, I know what to do and if they pass out and needs CPR I’m also aware of what to do. I’m patient and understanding I have time and patience to handle different childhood moods, and behaviors and understand that children have unique needs, and they’re also still in their developing stages. I can remain calm in challenging situations where most people might overreact and make a big deal. I can also keep a child entertained with age-appropriate activities, games and creative play that stimulate their mind and encourage their development.
I became CPR certified in June 2022 because I wanted to make sure that if something were to happen to somebody, I was around or while I was in school and nobody else was there to help the person, that I could make sure that they could be safe until emergency medical services got there. I wanted to become CPR certified for the reasoning of helping people because I want the best for everybody and I want everybody to be safe. Another reason that we keep certified was to be repaired and respond, effectively, an emergency situations, ensuring safety in the well being of those around me.

I worked extremely hard to make sure my goats and I were ready for the show. For example, I. made sure they weighed what they were supposed to, they had the right feed, and had a lot of training. What I mean when I say training is , walking them with a collar and making them listen to commands so that they are prepared to walk around the arena in front of people, including the judge. Making sure they listen and making yourself look professional and prepared. I worked with them everyday for around three and a half month to get them ready for the show. They have to weigh at least thirty pounds, they have to walk with you and also be able to stand a certain way so the judge can take a look and see how far they've come. The pose is also important for the viewers because you want them to buy your goat for a good price; The viewers want a meaty goat.
