I work in the Burn ICU so one of my major responsibilities includes dressing changes on most of my patients every shift. We are also the overflow unit for trauma and medical overflow units. the patients we care for are incredibly ill- burned or otherwise. So some of my other responsibilities include constant monitoring of vital signs, maintaining drips for electrolyte replacement , blood, sedation, and pain control as well as general patient care.

I completed daily tasks that a patient care assistant would complete such as vital collection, completing basic care tasks like toileting, changing linens, and bathing patients.
