I was highly involved in my high school in clubs like the National Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society (of which I was historian during my junior and senior years), and the Y-Club, where I participated in KYA and KUNA for four years. KYA and KUNA are mock government assemblies where students are given a chance to speak up about problems in the world and solve them by crafting our own bills and resolutions. I was a resolution sponsor for two years, so I gave a speech about assisting Ukrainian refugees in Sweden, and I was a committee chair my senior year, so I was the one leading the room where the sponsors gave their speeches. Y-club really helped me become a leader and a good public speaker. I attended the Governor's School of the Arts for visual art. Also, my experience in serving has helped me be a good team player, a great multi-tasker, and has taught me how to really be personable with other people in a fast-paced setting. I am currently holding a position in my sorority, which has evenmore so forced me to step up as a leader, and boosted my problem-solving skills.
