Adjusted machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. I ran tubes from different types of steel. It had different lengths from 56.5" to 312". Was was in charge of a six-person crew and did anything needed to help maintain and run the mill. I had to weld the coils every once in a while, stack the tube, and drive the forklift to move the bundles to stack in the warehouse. When I started at the job, I was on the forklift for six months until I was promoted to mill operator.

I ran a gas dryer in the scrap yard. I was in charge of fixing and troubleshooting the problems that came up. When I didn't have the material to run, I helped in the shredder, sorting the material so that it was clean steel that was ready to be sold. I drove a forklift and helped maintain and fix any issues that arose.
