Blake Davis

Hello, my name is Blake Davis, and I am a student at Western Kentucky University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my two years of school, I have taken classes such as Materials and Manufacturing, where we learned about certain properties of materials, and I have also toured manufacturing plants to learn about their processes. I have also been in other classes covering Physics and Chemistry with labs in each, as well as multiple math courses, including two Calculus classes. Outside of the university, I am a ride operations supervisor at Kentucky Kingdom Theme and Water park going on my fourth year as a supervisor. While at Kentucky Kingdom, I have done multiple jobs, such as park security, and moved to ride operations, where I was promoted to supervisor after my first year. I am also currently going through classes with International Ride Training to become an iROC, international ride operation certification, instructor, to have the certification to train others with the principles of iROC, but I will also be able to teach others to be trainers to train operators how to operate the rides and attractions of the park.
