I have worked at Pella Windows and Doors for just over 15 years. First, I started in production making windows, and after a few years, I went to the shipping department. While in the shipping department, I used three different types of forklifts. I used walkie riders that were 8-foot forks, stand-ups, sit-down forklifts, and required batteries or gas.
I get along well with my team members and am always willing to learn something new. When it comes to time management, I am always willing to stay late or start early. I believe in having great communication with everyone I work with. Safety is always my biggest concern when operating forklifts or any kind of maintenance on any kind of equipment. All safety rules need to be followed.
