I am extremely interested in the opportunity of becoming a full time supervisor here at UPS. I feel that I am more than capable of absorbing the responsibilities that this position offers. Over the years I have developed myself into a well-rounded employee that goes the extra mile, and is safety focused. This opportunity would allow me to cement myself into the chain of upper management where I can use the knowledge and experience that I've accumulated to help make a positive impact on the company, as well as my peers. This opportunity would also afford me the chance to continue to grow as a critical piece of management as I strive to forward my career.
Unloaded positions of heavy freight safely and in a timely manner.
November 2015 - Truck Dock Unload. Supervised 8-10 people in unload operation from truck to queue to correct mod or truck door. High flow, steady pace. well-functioned area.
April/May 2016 - Roller Bed Operation. Direct supervision of 8-10 people removing positions of heavy cargo off of roller bed trailers. Monitored for safe work methods. Initiated dialogue with staff on techniques to promote safety and timely completion of tasks.
July 2017 - Bulk Truck Load Operation. Oversaw numerous truck loads departing at various times for various destinations. More complex responsibility. Functioned well under time constraints and constant changes in routine. Fast paced area that highlighted my ability to adapt and while advancing my attention to detail and organizational skills.
June 2019 - Fly Mod Operation. Current coverage supervisor throughout the East side fly mods. Assists Full Time Supervisor to maintain productivity and promote safety in the area through auditing of outbound loads and providing SALTs to insure implementation of correct methods and procedures. Promotes high safety standards throughout the area. Inherits responsibilities of Full Time Supervisor in the absence of my superior. Responds to nightly operational demands throughout mods T, U and
V while maintaining exceptional communication with management team and peers.
February 2023- WFF Shift Operation. Oversee the movement of outbound ULD's to their assigned aircraft and ensure on time departures.
August 2023- WFF Sort Control. Communicate with outside entities to ensure a smooth sort and provide real time troubleshooting in support of mod, shift and truck operations.
