Responsibilities include chairing meetings with licensees, planning, directing and controlling of the division in the absence of the Head of Banking with specific responsibilities for supervising a team of 24 staff members. Implementing new supervisory methodologies, including the requirements of Basel II and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Revised Core Principles for Effective Banking Supervision, participating in Management Committee (MC) meetings and making recommendations for the licensing of banks and other non-banking financial institutions.
