In the superintendent's absence, I serve as the acting Superintendent, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making while continuing all job responsibilities assigned as the Assistant Superintendent.

I assist the Superintendent in the leadership and administration of the school district, overseeing daily operations, implementing policies, and supporting academic and operational excellence. I supervise key departments, align resources with district goals, and foster collaboration among schools, staff, and the community to promote staff and student success.

In this role, I led the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs across the school district to ensure high-quality, standards-based teaching and learning. I collaborated with school leaders, teachers, and curriculum specialists to align academic initiatives with district goals, worked to improve student achievement, and supported staff professional development. As the director, I also monitored program effectiveness through data analysis and ensured compliance with state and federal educational requirements.

As Corbin Middle School's instructional and operational leader, I continued to create a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment. I oversaw daily school operations, guided curriculum and instruction, supported teacher development, and fostered strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community. I also ensured compliance with district policies and state regulations while promoting a culture of excellence, equity, and continuous improvement.

As assistant principal, I supported the Principal in the overall leadership and management of the school, with a focus on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young students. I assisted in supervising instructional practices, student behavior, school operations, and staff development. I worked to support family engagement, a positive school culture, professional growth of staff, and academic and social-emotional growth for all students.

As a teacher at Corbin Middle School, I delivered engaging, standards-based instruction to support middle school students' academic, social, and emotional development. I designed effective lesson plans, assessed student progress, and created a positive, respectful classroom environment. I collaborated with colleagues, communicated with families, and participated in school initiatives to promote student success and prepare learners for high school and beyond.
