I am a dedicated and reliable individual with experience as a babysitter, and pet sitter demonstrating patience and critical thinking. Proven teamwork skills through being a member on the high school softball and volleyball team. Also through volunteering at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and packaging goods for those in need I have excelled in teamwork and dependability. Certified in first aid and CPR, I also excel in time management and maintaining a positive attitude in all situations.
Through pet sitting because I was taking care of a bird, I had to feed her regularly, along with making sure the bird is entertained through bonding or using the toys in her cage. This has taught me similar things to babysitting except in different ways. Like responsibility, communication, and problem-solving.
Growing up I've always had to babysit my siblings. I have four sisters meaning everyone was always doing something. Our parents were usually busy with work or driving one of my siblings somewhere. This lead me to usually babysit one or both of my younger siblings. Throughout this process I have learned critical thinking and how important having patience is.
Packaging canned goods for the less fortunate. During this process I learned the importance of working with others, and how each person had their own role to fulfill in order to succeed.
During the summer/spring seasons my mom and I would volunteer at the concession stands. We would usually work for an hour or two. This helped me become more familiar with taking someones order, and serving people.
I have played sports most of my life. This has taught me many things including teamwork, time management, and discipline. My freshman year in high school I played volleyball and softball, my grades remained at all A's whilst being in all-honors. I was captain of the JV volleyball team my freshman year, for softball I was on JV and Varsity. My freshman year I also took two college classes and passed both with over a 100. This includes Principles of Health, and Medical Terminology, both are part of the nursing pathway. Through another class known as Emergency Procedures I was able to gain my CPR certification.
