Genevieve White

Cayman Islands

Summary

I am a 6PQE Associate Attorney seeking a role in the United States. My career to date has been split between Australia and the Cayman Islands, working as a commercial and insolvency litigation lawyer.

I worked in boutique as well as national top tier firms in Australia before moving to the Cayman Islands. My experience in Australia was general commercial litigation and insolvency. Since moving to the Cayman Islands, I have worked in global litigation teams in which I have continued general commercial litigation with a focus on merger arbitrage and insolvency.

I have recently passed the New York Bar exam and in the process of being admitted in the State of New York. I will then be eligible to transfer my UBE score interstate. I am seeking a role in the United States that I can apply my commercial law experience to and continue to broaden my skill set. A notable amount of the insolvency work in the Cayman Islands interlaces with US legal issues and I have had considerable exposure with US law, firms and instructed numerous town agents in New York, Delaware and Florida.

A separate case list for my work experience is available upon request.
