I actively built the program from the ground up. We were considered in the top 5 within the state of Ky upon my retirement. We worked hard on getting our SUD participants educated, building new lives and restoring their families. I worked closely with community leaders and built a circle of support for our participants. I connected our participants with resources they needed. I was awarded several certificates such as The National Drug Court Institute Initiative in 2003, The Twelve Core Functions o Consultation, the Twelve Core Functions of Counseling i 2007, recognized nationally for my outstanding contributions to Dept of Specialty Courts in 2016, certified in Train the Trainer Trauma Care, awarded volunteer of the year by Operation received the Go Get It Awards from UNITE in 2022 and was placed in the Library of Congress by Congressman Rogers upon my retirement.
