  • Responsibilities of this job include:
  • Certification calls: This responsiblility requires me to liaise and schedule teams video calls with incoming dicrectors/ shareholders to veiw and verify their personal doumentation. (passport and proof of addresses). Also to answer any queries I have the power to resolve.
  • Register updates: This is my main responsiblility on the team. It entailes me to communicate through fee earners or directly to clients to request the required KYC for incoming shareholders/ directors (individuals and /or entities). Once KYC was collected it is my responsibility to update the client entity files and keep them organized, as well as entering the new data into Viewpoint client profile.
  • Background checks: With each incoming person or entity, it is my responsibility to run internal system checks through 5 Series, Viewpoint and Elite. In addtion I am required to run external checks using systems such as Google and Riskscreen.
  • Quality control: This was a side project. I was instructed to review my teams work and report to my manager for statistic purposes,team growth and reflection.
  • My current job role has helped me grow in my understanding of our local regulatory requirements and guidelines. Strenghtend my ability to communicate professionally to clients whists still providing a personal experience. Lastly, its shown me that everyday is a new day to learn something new.
