Multi-faceted, detail oriented, reliable, with a strong work ethic that works well with others or individually. There is no task too big or too small, deadline or no deadline, will give total effort to ensure task is completed safely, accurately, and to the standards of what the task calls for. Love working with my hands, whether it be working on a vehicle or doing a project in my wood and metal shop at home. I've accelled and advanced up in jobs like from helper taking orders on a two man construction crew, to crew leader giving orders, running the jobs with company truck and credit card to take home. Went from assembly line worker, to team lead over 23 coworkers on same line, to material handler supplying parts to that line. Organized, dedicated, and focused on going above and beyond to contribute to success.
Checked in trucks at the gate using BOL to see what area of the plant it goes to. Informed that area leader what it was and what dock number they wanted it to go to. Escorted truck to the preferred dock number. Checked parts numbers and quantity to BOL to ensure accuracy. Signed off on BOL and released the driver. Scanned parts into the warehouse management system using RF scanner. Determined which pallets needed to go to quality for inspection. Printed pallet labels with barcode and part numbers for that load. Put labels on all four corners of each pallet so they can go in the ASRS storage system for production to pull out as needed. Used warehouse management software to pull finished EV battery modules (that had been stored for specified term) out of ASRS to be taken to retest before shipping.
Secured incoming parts and material trailors into specified loading dock by using mechanical trailor lock on dock and chocking trailor wheels. Checked safety of trailor floor underneath from outside. Unloaded parts and materials from trailor by way of forklift following safety guidelines and procedures. Took needed parts to quality dept. to be checked for defects before being used in production. Loaded parts into ASRS (Automated Storage and Recovery System)by forklift, which would put parts in designated slots until called out by production to be used. Had to troubleshoot any mechanical issue if ASRS stopped and alarms sounded, example: plastic wrap caught in rollers, broken light curtain, improper data on parts, lodged pallet. Unloaded finished EV battery modules from ASRS by forklift once they have been stored for specified amount of time and took them to specified areas to be retested before being shipped to factory. Stacked and wrapped empty parts bins to go back to vendors. Loaded finished battery modules and empty bins on trailors to be sent out to destinations.
