My hobby is fishing. I spend a lot of my free time and money into fishing and becoming a better bass angler. This has inspired me to major in biology, specifically fish and wildlife biology. I feel called to take care of the Earth and I want to pursue that in the form of Biology.
At Southeast Christian Church, I volunteer as a Middle School Leader, leading 6th Grade boys on Sunday mornings through their walk with Christ. I exemplify both leadership and commitment, as I am there for my boys every Sunday, walking along side them in their journey with Christ.
For many years I have been volunteering with Compassion International, helping the unfortunate. I volunteer at concerts, that Compassion is involved with, and hand out packets about underprivileged children, encouraging people to sponsor a child, and help end world poverty.
While volunteering at the Miracle League I helped facilitate baseball games for children with special needs. I made both connections and meaningful relationships with students of all ages, and all backgrounds, encouraging them in their beloved sport.
While working as a barista, I engaged with many different customers, multitasking and making different drinks at the same time. I had to be able to work quickly and to make drinks as efficiently as possible whilst also maintaining a friendly atmosphere with the customers.
At Sterling Crate Home I am tasked with selling, building, and loading furniture throughout the day. I engage with customers, and promote the brand, focusing on increased sales and efficiency.
While employed at Annlyzang Events, I set up and took down beach weddings. Along with logistics, I served guests during the reception, and had a great time working for a wedding company.
