Youth Care Specialists are considered leadership positions within their assigned cottages. They provide

leadership in all cottages in the absence of YCS in another cottage and for the general campus.

They promote consistency and dependability through modeling and mentoring clients as well as co-workers.

Demonstrates an understanding of trauma informed practices through the promotion of safety, consistent care, supervision and support to residents of the Caminos Program.

• Provided a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk youth through consistent supervision and positive reinforcement.
