As a CMA in this pediatric office I worked directly with physicians and nurse practitioners to provide care for our pediatric patients ages newborn to 18 years old. I roomed patients, obtained all vital signs (including orthostatic vital signs when needed), performed POCT such as flu, covid, rsv, strep, urinalysis and pregnancy test and charting all results and communicating results with patient/parent/guardian. I also assisted with straight cath in office when needed, stool sample collection, genetic swab test, removal of stitches/sutures, wound care/first aid, cpr. My job role consisted of drawing up childhood immunizations/vaccines along with antibiotic,steroid injections, and administering all of these vaccines/immunizations/injections to all pediatric patients of all ages. I performed finger sticks for hemoglobin, lead testing and blood sugar levels testing. I also kept stock of all private stock vaccines, kept count and ordered them. I also performed vision and hearing tests. I kept stock of exam room supplies and making sure rooms had what they needed. I am very skilled and knowledgeable of the complete childhood immunization schedule and how to administer them. My job duties also consisted of communication with patients and parents/guardians, gaining chief complaints for visits, charting information, going over medication lists, allergies and medical history, as well as scheduling out of office procedures/imaging by calling the facility/hospital to schedule them, I also took care of patient referrals ordered by the physician and making sure the patient got scheduled and followed up with each referral. The office/provider I worked for also specialized in pediatric behavioral medicine so I am familiar and knowledgeable of pediatric patients with behavior disorders, psychiatric disorders and disabilities. My job duties were also answering phones and frequently working the phone nurse line, assisting front office with paperwork and office duties, keeping office,rooms,ect clean and sanitized, I assisted parents on feeding their infants, changing them,comforting and communicating with the children of all ages, and providing educational/milestone information and advice based on the child's age. I administered in office oral medication/treatments when ordered by the physician such as Tylenol/Ibuprofen, Zofran, Steroids, breathing treatments, Epi pen, Benadryl/allergy medication, vitamins and also administered allergy shots. In my job role I used epic, an electronic medical record system. As a pediatric certified medical assistant I also obtained vital signs/pulse/oxygen levels on newborns/infants. My job role also consisted of being exposed to and being sensitive to child abuse and neglect cases in which I provided assistance to patients and families as needed and providing support during these specific cases. This job also required me to care for and interact with pediatric patients that had disabilities, feeding tubes and other chronic medical conditions.With my job I professionally followed all HIPPA laws and rules at all times.

My job duties and roles as a CMA/MOA in this busy outpatient urgent care were from office checking patients in and out, checking insurances, taking payments, scheduling procedures/X-rays and keeping track of finances and patient flow. My clinical job duties were rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, preparing/administering injections, breathing treatments, finger sticks and POCT testing. I also obtained urinalysis, drug screens, physical vision and hearing screens. I also kept up with stock of supplies, ordering supplies and making sure exam rooms were stocked and clean. This office only used paper charting so my duty was to document all patient complaints, medication lists and medical history, along with documentation of all tests, injections, procedures and results. I assisted the physician in wound care, suturing, first aid and gynecological procedures when needed.

As a CNA in this long-term care unit I provided care to rehabilitation patients, elderly dementia/Alzheimer's patients and total care patients. I was responsible for feeding/assist with meals, bathing, turning/rolling, transporting, documentation of patient care and assisting the nurses in medication administration and vital signs. I also was responsible for providing post mortem care.

My job duties and responsibilities as a nurse assistant on the medical unit consisted of vital signs, assisting in meals and bathroom help when needed, documentation, bathing, transporting, cleaning and stocking rooms, charting, assisting nurses with various tasks when needed. Providing care to patients of all ages and patients with all medical conditions, sickness or diseases. I also assisted in post mortem care and emergency situations such as codes.

As a childcare assistant/teacher I overlooked children in age groups 0-1 year, 1-4 years in different room stages. I helped provide education based on the age level, feeding infants, helping with meal times and nap time. Changing diapers and working by a schedule system for each child.
