Supervised the regulation development section writers in drafting new regulations and amending existing regulations as requirements were promulgated by the Environmental Protection Agency and guiding them through the legislative process until final under Kentucky law.
Supervise the Compliance Assistance Section in the administration of the various drinking water programs involving the analysis, review, and interpretation pertaining to the chemical and bacteriological monitoring required by public water systems.
Plan and conduct field inspections and compliance investigations at 27 state parks located throughout the state and determine compliance with all environmental programs, including drinking water and wastewater treatment plants. Develop and implement training of Parks' drinking water and wastewater operators relating to environmental issues.
