Payroll & Permits Administrator

  • Review, prepare, and submit Work Permits (TWP, Grant & Renewal).
  • Submission of Business Visitors' permits (BVP) and visitors work visa (VWV).
  • Responsible for Business staffing plan applications and renewals.
  • Preparation of Job Descriptions and submit job adverts through the Jobs Cayman portal (government website - WORC).
  • Periodic review of Job advertisements and prepare reports to HOD if any locally available candidate applied for such a position.
  • Coordinate with HOD's for monitoring the vacancies
  • Handling the recruitment Process by arranging and coordinating the interview with the Department heads.
  • Preparation of offer letters and negotiation benefits with the selected candidates.
  • Preparation of Employment Contracts, addendum to employment contract etc.
  • Handling new employee full employee life cycle of the property including Onboarding and Orientation,
  • Coordinated onboarding for over 50+ employees annually.
  • Managed employee records and ensured compliance with Cayman labor laws and company policies.
  • Creating new employee codes by adding new hires to Blue Bison and 7 Shifts systems for the payroll.
  • Streamlined payroll processing by implementing an HRIS, reducing errors by 10%.
  • Responsible for enrolling new employee health insurance and pension into the group plan and completed periodic compliance reviews.
  • Preparation of pension termination package and sending it to CG Britcay group pension provider.
  • Handling a part of payroll activities on 7Shift & Blue Bison software, reviewing timesheet, updating salary changes and recording sick leave and vacation of 250+ staff into the system and submitting it to payroll officer for processing the pay.
  • Ensuring the authenticity of reports related with salary and compensation.
  • managing database maintenance, new employee electronic files.
  • Planned and coordinate the internship program throughout the year. Working closely with UCCI and CIFEC, the School of Hospitality in Cayman Island.

  • Utilized Power BI to design and deliver interactive dashboards and graphical reports showcasing key HR metrics, including employee turnover, headcount trends, time-to-hiring.
