As a server I help guests and ensure I make their experience positive, friendly, and special by going above and beyond to give them the best service. Some of my tasks I have include:
- Greeting guests with a warm friendly smile and positive attitude
- Making my guests visit special by asking their name and remembering them when they come back, and doing candles for birthdays
- Taking orders and placing them on a POS system
- Informing guests of all active specials and answering any menu or bar related questions to help them create a personalized meal
- Actively bussing and resetting tables to keep a clean and professional dining room
- Stocking and cleaning anything needed to help run a smooth shift

- Help with bar drinks if needed
As a manager at copper river I help run the FOH floor and insure things ran smoothly. These were some of the tasks I had while working:
- Expediting control, app, and salad windows
- Running pizza/dessert station
- Ensuring all orders are being wrung in correctly so we do not have to remake and keep food cost in good standing
- Communicating with kitchen to keep tickets selling at a good time to keep guests happy
- Making the day and night floor chart for servers which includes section, side work, and closing duties
- Cash handling through the day and cash outs at night
- Operating the POS system placing any items we may be out of stock, doing all voids, any food comps, and discounts
- Keeping track of the daily sales report to ensure we have enough people on the floor or make sure we don't have to many and keep the labor on track
- Running and closing the kitchen/BOH
- About 2 days a week I'm the only manager on the floor and responsible for closing the FOH and kitchen/BOH on the same night
- Talking with guests and ensuring everything was satisfactory and offer my assistance to the servers when needed
- If the restaurant was short handed I would also help host, bartend, and dish when needed
As assistant manager I had countless roles in maintaining the work flow and run of the restaurant some of those were:
- Working 10-18 hours shifts
- Opening and operating the entire restaurant by myself for 6 hours until another employee came in
- Prepping, cooking and operating FOH
- Handling cash throughout the day, handling the deposit at night, and taking deposits to the bank and getting change
- Running a forecasted sales and improving the scheduled based on it
- Doing inventory and placing all truck orders
- Putting up all trucks and rotating stock effectively
- Closing kitchen and FOH
- Attending corporate events on behalf of the restaurant and participating in competitions
At subway responsibilities were spilt pretty even between managers so my tasks included:
- Working at all 3 locations in Nicholasville
- Running shift from open to close
- Prepping and helping customers
- Taking product to other stores in the area
- Handling cash outs at the end of the night and doing the bank run
- Doing inventory and helping with truck orders
