Receipant of the Medal of Valor

In 2015 While assisting with Housing Inmates in the Fayette County Courthouse, a young woman was placed into a holding cell, while waiting her transport to the Detention Center. As I was conducting observations I quickly observed the young lady had placed a belt around her neck and was attempting to take her own life. I quickly ran to the individual and removed the belt from around her neck. i then realized she was not breathing and administered several sternum rubs until she took a breathe. I was able to revive her breathing and her life.
