As a Display Glass Associate I was responsible for collecting product from production lines and running various quality checks. Checking for defects and other parameters that would be out of spec per our customer needs.

Attention to detail, completing product sampling plans and following safety guidelines.

• Used forklifts and pallet jacks to relocate products.
• Loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas.
• Kept warehouse stations and equipment in good working order in line with OSHA requirements.
• Checked packages and merchandise for damage and notified vendors.

As a Sheet Glass Operator I was responsible for running the overall production line duties including managing losses and line events in the system hourly, checking crates for ship out ensuring product was within spec visually with no broken product, cleaning and maintaining the line, changing machine tools like score bars and other consumables, trouble shooting line faults and following safety guidelines.

In the time I spent at Shaker Village I did two main jobs. As Facility Services employee I supplied all overnight guest buildings with clean linens and cleaning supplies, helped guest with luggage and check in/out, checked for trash and other general clean up duties around the property.

As Senior Deck Hand on the Dixie Belle I assisted in Coast Guard certification every year, maintained the vessel for operation, provided customer service to passengers, and performed routine safety for departures and docking.
