This job required me to be in at 4 AM to begin cleaning stalls. After the stalls were done, I was in charge of setting tack, putting on the appropriate equipment, including bell boots or polo bandages. I also had to make sure horses were cooled out appropriately, and baths were given. After training hours, I had a group of horses that I was in charge of grooming and applying the appropriate bandages. I was in charge of making sure the appropriate amount of feed and supplements was given to each horse.

• Mucked out stables, cleaned the barn, and stacked feed and bedding to foster a clean and comfortable environment for the animals.
• Led horses from stables to fields and back to maintain control of animals.
• Filled hay savers, water buckets, and measured feed and supplements to keep horses well-fed.
