Also along with the contracting in construction, I currently work for the painting company that was hired through the construction contractor I work for. My jobs include putting, sanding, cocking base boards windows etc, and painting.

I currently work for a contractor in construction. My duties include framing, siding, and roofing etc. Based on the job we are on that day is where our area of expertise comes in. Whatever the employer wants done that day is where the contractors come in.
