Following graduation from Campbellsville University Associate in Science of Nursing degree, employed as a Registered Nurse with extensive experience at Springview Hospital Emergency Room, adept at critical thinking and patient assessment. Proven ability to administer medications safely while monitoring for side effects. Strong team player with excellent communication skills, committed to advancing my education towards a Master's Degree for Nurse Practitioner.

1. Advocated for the well-being of patients by creating a new trauma protocol within our Emergency Department and presenting to administration for approval; the need was considered based on the social determinant of this being a rural area with many dangerous profession's, like farmers and heavy machinery workers. 

2. Participated in Safety Day for the local schools, providing community education over CPR and basic life support skills in the case of an emergency. 

3. Advocated for the allowance of more nurse externs in the Emergency Department, providing younger age diversity within a department that typically requires years of experience prior.
