- Oversee all aspects of Racing, Bloodstock, and Farm Management

RACING

- Regularly observe all aspects of morning training at track

- Establish direct, honest, daily communication with trainers(Cox, Pletcher, Walden, Maker Asmussen etc) regarding progress reports

- Communicate between owner and trainer regarding the selection of races, race tactics, and overall campaign management

- Coordinate raceday logistics for owner and partners regarding tickets, transportation, and overall event experience

BLOODSTOCK/ SALES

- Select matings for each mare

- Determine which foals to sell or keep to race

- Select for purchase weanlings, yearlings, two year olds, and mares both at public auction and privately(purchased NYSOS for 130k as a weanling)

- Prep all foals and yearlings for public auction

- Establish trusted relationships with consignors(Bluewater, Taylor Made, Four Star, Hill n Dale, Sequel, Wavertree, etc) to set reserves and gameplan how best to showcase our weanlings, yearlings, etc

FARM

- Assist Broodmare manager in foaling each mare

- Monitor each foal for conformation and manage any surgical or farrier interventions for alignment(screws, extensions, etc)

- Maintain the highest possible standard of care and overall well being of our foal crop, broodmare band, and racehorse layups

- Regularly reach out to breeders and racehorse owners to source the highest level of commercially viable sales offerings

- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients and help to advise on horse valuations and sales reserves

- Direct the acquisition of weanlings and yearlings for resale(purchased Instagrand for 190k & resold for 1,2M)

- Provide matings analysis for farm clients and work with stud farms to secure both live foal and no guarantee seasons

- Create exercise plan, dietary specifics, and overall regimen for all yearlings prepping for public auction

- Assist sales coordinator in managing sales logistics like barn setup, paperwork, and staffing

- Ensure all paperwork for sales horses is turned into auction companies in a timely manner

- Coordinate the on site setup of sales barn along with arrival & departure of horses

- Hire the staff for each sale and manage staff housing, food, and compensation

- Track viewings and vet work at sale in order to better target potential buyers

- Communicate pertinent updates to owner, clients, and potential buyers as they occur

- Proofread catalog pages for racing updates or clerical errors

- Maintain positive working relationships with all vendors
