
I am a dedicated and dependable team member with nearly seven years of experience working at Sonny’s BBQ in Richmond, Kentucky. Throughout my time with the company, I have gained extensive experience in multiple roles including cook, prep, cashier, and dish. Being able to work in several different positions has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of how the restaurant operates as a whole and how each role contributes to the success of the team. I take pride in being flexible and stepping in wherever I am needed to help keep operations running smoothly, especially during busy shifts.
In addition to my daily responsibilities, I have also taken on leadership responsibilities by helping train new employees and guiding them through procedures, expectations, and customer service standards. I enjoy helping new team members feel comfortable and confident in their roles so they can contribute to the team effectively. I also assist customers when concerns or issues arise, particularly when a manager may not be immediately available, ensuring that every guest still has a positive experience.
I am very trusted by all managers and making sure procedures are followed and the team stays organized and prepared. Over the years, I have built strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills that allow me to stay calm and productive in fast-paced environments. My hard work and dedication have been recognized through positive written performance reviews and being awarded Employee of the Quarter.
One of my strongest qualities is my commitment to the success of the team and the restaurant as a whole. I understand that a strong workplace depends on communication, teamwork, and reliability, and I always strive to lead by example during my shifts. I believe in supporting my coworkers, stepping in wherever help is needed, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment even during high-pressure situations. Because I have worked in many positions within the restaurant, I understand the challenges each role faces and can help guide and support team members when needed. My goal is always to help the restaurant operate efficiently while ensuring customers receive the best service possible.
