Concierge
Disney's All Star Music Resort (and Various Other Resorts)
08.2025 - 01.2026
As a Disney employee, I learned to always have a great image when in the presence of a guest. This helps to create a welcoming and professional environment when in view of a guest.
As a Disney employee on the College Program your schedule is not set in stone every week. Therefore I learned how to manage my time as well as ensure I have a consistent amount of hours each week, this can be translated to making the schedules of myself and others.
Front Desk Concierge
Provision Living at Crown Ridge, Senior Living
05.2024 - 07.2025
Working as a front desk employee, I would handle calls including but not limited to answering questions and transferring them to the appropriate member of our staff, as well as making sure the building and lobby are in adequate condition for guests and residents.
This position taught me to be patient and vigilant as I always had to keep an ear out for those in need of assistance whether in person or over the phone. I also played a proactive role in creating fliers for upcoming events and was a key consultant for those in need of a quick response to a question.
Resident Assistant
Transylvania University
08.2022 - 03.2024
Being an RA has taught me countless skills. Most notably, this includes responsibility and determination in completing my tasks. I also let my creative side show.
As an RA I am expected to complete routine check-ups on my residents through Crimson Connects and perform duty rounds of all residential buildings on campus.
My creativity shines through fun and engaging events that are well-planned and executed in the best way possible. As well as in my door decs and bulletin boards that are expected to change a couple of times a semester.
Cabin Counselor
YMCA Camp Ernst
06.2022 - 08.2022
I spent a week in a cabin with children ages 9-13. This involved getting them up in the morning to go to breakfast and guiding them back and forth from various activities. All while keeping the energy high and the morale positive.
I had to deal with a plethora of situations and issues. It was as simple as helping a camper find the restroom, as well as advanced situations such as dealing with conflicts between campers.
