  • Urinalysis- able to run complete urinalysis on the AUWI and do manual dipsticks with the Clinitek Advantus along with macroscopic analysis. Also performed urine HCGs, Ictotests, and triple reducing sugars (TRS on infant urines).
  • Chemistry- Experiences and maintenance/ troubleshooting with the Siemens Vista 500s and 1500s, Siemens Centaur XP, ABL machines, BioPlex, Vidas machines, and Siemens Aptio Automated Lines. Done regular daily quality control along with calibrations.
  • Microbiology- able to set up cultures from various sources, run PCR tests on the Cepheid and TORCH Biofire machines.
  • Blood Bank- Experiences with the Ortho Provue and Ortho Vision (Automated Blood Bank systems) Able to perform testing for Antibodies with automated and manual methods using Antibody panels and antigrams, including antigen testing for specific antigens. (Part of the Trauma team. Experienced in all trauma levels along with MTPs.)
