  • I am currently employed as a Resident Advisor in Jewell Hall for the University of Kentucky.
  • I underwent the application process in the Spring semester of 2024 and attended a training series in the summer of 2024.
  • Since then, I have grown within my leadership role. I have had to handle things like conflict, building emergencies, resident mental health emergencies, and more.
  • This position has also allowed me to connect with residents and help them feel a sense of belonging at the university, the Wildcat Way!

Teaching Assistant

  • In this position I held a multitude of responsibilities. Not only was I working with and teaching a class of kindergarten age children, I was communicating with parents and families, creating lesson plans, making art, cleaning, creating, + more.

  • During the Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown I started out doing volunteer work at this rehab facility/home for geriatrics in need. This included coming up with innovative ways to keep residents emotionally active and involved with one another.
  • From here I took a paid position unloading a supply truck and supplying the building with health materials.
  • Shortly after taking this position I took the afternoon receptionist shift while still stocking the building in the morning.
  • The receptionist position included tasks like answering calls, working with packages, working with families, visitors, and more.
