  • As an onsite consultant I partnered with clients to provide the level of accounting services they required. I worked with the clients to fill in the gaps in their accounting department.
  • This typically consisted of Controller/CFO tasks such as reviewing general ledger activity for proper recording of transactions and entering adjusting entries where necessary, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries for items such as accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, depreciation, amortization, and other entries that may be required based on the clients' industry.
  • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules. Prepare interim compiled or preparation financial statements utilizing the clients accounting software.
  • Analyze the financial data and create dashboards, monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) to assist in financial management of the entity.
  • Coordinate with tax department and be the liaison between the firm and client in order to gather financial data needed for ongoing tax planning purposes.
  • Prepare payroll tax returns including year end W-2's, sales tax returns, business entity reports required by states, etc. Train client's accounting department staff members.
