Responsible for receiving and completing all nursing information for admissions (medication orders, sending medication orders to the pharmacy, completing dietary communication).
Responsible for receiving the hospital report, including verifying medication orders, upcoming follow-up appointments, antibiotic medication timeframes, diabetic medication types, and the need for additional lab work.
Responsible for completing the POST form, obtaining consents (Flu, Pneumonia, COVID-when applicable, and psychotropic medication consents).
Responsible for developing a baseline care plan according to diagnoses and medications.
Responsible for communicating the report with the receiving Charge Nurse.
