- I am responsible for the maintenance of the restrainer, Upperator, BFD, hock cutters, side pullers, tail pullers, down pullers, prewash, gut table, Jarvis split saws, tripe table, tripe chain, tripe washers and refiners, Cryovac, ultra-Vac, all types of main chains, main drive gear boxes, conveyor belts, jackshaft chains, mechanical and hydraulic feeder pins, etc.
- I am responsible for the timing of the main chains, head chain, and trolley line and the drives, hotboxes in the coolers and all the switches.
- It is my responsibility for the shackle line, decline belt, Etc.
- I am responsible of the Hydrothermal that produces all the 180 waters to the kill floor. (Steam line). Including all plumbing throughout 1st Processing Area of the plant.
- I am to make sure that my techs have their PM's complete, work orders and to do all safety meetings daily.
- I am to see that all the hydraulic, air, and electrical motors and pumps are working.
