Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Verify that school vendors are approved by the district in Munis.

  • Generate, track, and route purchase orders through Munis

software to secure classroom and office supplies for all staff.

  • Receive all incoming school shipments, check items against

packing slips and purchase orders to verify accuracy, and report

any damages or missing items.

  • Sort and ensure all delivered supplies are promptly and

accurately distributed to the appropriate staff member or

department.

  • Assist the principal in monitoring departmental and grade level

spending in Munis to ensure the school remains within budget.

  • Maintain account ledgers for student clubs, athletics, and elective programs (band, chorus, musical, etc.), and field trips.
  • Collecting and verifying money from student fees, fundraisers,

field trips, & Book Fair revenue.

  • Preparing and making daily or regular bank deposits and ensuring money is applied to the correct student activity fund.
  • Reconcile bank statements monthly to maintain precise cash flow tracking.
  • Input, track, and verify daily leaves of absence (sick leave,

personal days, jury duty, etc) for all teachers, support staff, and

admin. in the Frontline system.

  • Reconcile daily substitute teacher hours against scheduled absences in Frontline.
  • Meet district deadlines to export finalized timekeeping data to

central office payroll department for paycheck processing.

  • Maintain a backup log of internal class coverage when a

substitute teacher is unavailable and regular teachers fill in

during their planning periods.

  • Generate financial reports for the school principal as well as the

Family Resources Youth Service Center Director.
