Served as the the Executive Officer (XO) to the Program Executive Officer (PEO) at PEO Soldier, Major General Chris Schneider. Enabled the the PEO to lead and develop the organization while delivering enhanced warfighting capabilities through the use of traditional and non-traditional Acquisition pathways, as a part of a work force comprised of 1489 personnel including Soldiers, civilians, and support contractors. Assistant Product Manager- Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS), responsible for the production, fielding, and New Equipment Training (NET) of the IVAS program, an Army signature modernization program, enabling increased Soldier lethality and situational awareness. Directly supported Soldier Lethality, Network, and Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team modernization priorities. Managed a $120M budget while leading a multi-functional product support team through the use of emerging Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) pathways and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contract approaches.
Assistant Product Manager - Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk, with development, production, testing, fielding, and life-cycle management of the advanced Command and Control (C2) software and AI/ML data collection algorithms for the Army's entire dismounted maneuver force. Actively managed an annual budget over $100M and worked closely with Army Futures Command (AFC), the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Project Maven, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Led a multi-disciplined team of more than 10 engineers, programmers, and acquisition professionals on this high visibility AFC modernization priority.
Maneuver Advisor Team (MAT) Leader in the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade, a purpose-built combat advisor brigade, capable of world-wide deployment across the spectrum of conflict to train, advise, assist, accompany and enable partnered foreign security forces. Develops and implements intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaisance (ISR), fires, tactics for training, and military operations; supervises maintenance of vehicles and communication equipment; responsible for the accountability of $2.5 million in vehicles, weapons, organizational, and theatre provided equipment.
