  • Removal of products used for painting vehicle to help hold doors and hoods open
  • Responsible for following a criteria and standards for sending cars to assembly
  • Multitasking is a major part of the daily job, being able to remove products from cars using power tools while not damaging the vehicle.
  • Pulling vehicles from a bank of cars using a program while following a special criteria for inventory while being sent into a specific order to assembly, as well as, removal of tools used for painting vehicles while paying attention to said protocol.
  • I have been a part of multiple teams working together to find solutions or provide a safer and practical way for multiple jobs sites
  • The teams meet once a week to brainstorm with ideas on how we can make a process more comfortable followed by a written presentation that includes our end results along with data we have retrieved during our eight week testing among hypothesis.

  • Calibration of equipment in lab including: scales, simulated gas generator, motor exhaust gas analyzer for catalytic converters testing equipment
  • Responsible for creating test subjects for all individual test ran on both metal and ceramic catalytic converters
  • Work with liquid nitrogen to examine surface area through Macsorb Automatic Surface Area Analyzer as well as Silver Nitrate for chloride test
  • Running standards everyday on each machine, making sure gas flow was in the correct spec by having to find the average of numbers within a certain time frame allowing me to refer to standard check sheets.
  • Gases were not in a controlled temperature environment which caused a more sporadic change in gas flow.
  • Multitasking with multiple samples running through same or one of the other tests, time reflection lab
  • Breaking down of both first and second coats used on converters via mortar and pestle then put through disc mill, and then sieved.
  • Provided analysis of first and second coat material through Rigaku XRF analysis machine to analyze the ratio of elements within the heterogeneous mixture. Thus, making sure each element was within nominal spec.
